SUZANNE MACNOW
First Vice President
CB Richard Ellis
Suzanne Macnow specializes in Central
New Jersey, and is personally credited with
more than 500 sale and lease deals, including 120,000 square feet for Holmdel Corporate Plaza; 60,000
at 788 Shrewsbury Ave.; a 100-acre sale in Tinton Falls; a
33,000-square-foot build-to-suit in Monroe; and 92,000 square
feet for K. Hovnanian. A well-known and prolific broker consistently among the top 10 office brokers at CBRE, she’s a
mentor to other women in the field.
Key Issue: “I don’t believe, in this modernized country, that women
have any ‘issues’ in this business. Thankfully, my experience has
always been that a client will try to hire the best broker, and gender
has nothing to do with their decision. Many women have decided to
take control of their role in the workplace and push forth the notion
that women can succeed in this business.”

women in industry to be identified by the CEO of a construction firm as a possible successor.
Key Issue: “As more women enter the construction trades, there is
increasing concern about their health and safety. There are issues
specific to female workers. Many of these challenges can be addressed,
but for changes to take place, these issues need to be given greater voice.
Improving work conditions will not only ensure their health and
safety, but will also serve to attract and retain women.”
